AWARDIAG CONTRACT FOR THE GRADING OF AN INDUSTRIAL
HIGHWAY ALONG THE SOUTHERLY LINE 07 TRACT 39 BE-
TWEEN THE WESTERLY LIRE OT WEBSTER STREET AND THE
EASTERLY LINE OP TRACT 41, CITY 09 ALAMEDA.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda did heretofore
advertise for sealed bids or proposals for the grading of an industrial
highway along the sontherly line of Tract 39 between the westerly line of
Webster Street and the easterly line of Tract 41, City of Alameda, County
of Alameda, State of California, and
WHEREAS, the bid of J.F. HOLLAND, INC., in the sum of Seventeen
and one-half cents ($0.175) per cubic yard wee the loWeat responsible bid
received in response to said notice, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by-the Council of the City Of Alameda, that the con-
tract for the grading of said industrial highway be, and the same is hereby,
awarded to J. P. HOLLAND, INC., pursuant to his offer of November 5, 1930,
and the Mayor to hereby authorized and directed, for an on behalf of said
City end the City Council, to enter into e confront with said J. P. HOLLAND,
am accordance with said notice and bid.
1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the city of
Alameda in regular meeting ansembled on the 5th day of !.avember, 1930, by
the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Brodersen, Calcutt, lethem, Henning and ?resident
Schaefer, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
