ABEREIS, the Council c the City of larieda finds it necessary for public safety und
convenience to cause tc be placed and maintained alonm the curb on the east side of Chest-
nut Ctreet, fifty (50) feet south of Encinal Avenue one (1) parking sign; now, therefore,
.9E IT RESCLITED by the Council of the City of Alameda, in accordance with Section 3
of Ordinance Nb. 357 N. S., cbrmonly known as the "Dniform Traffic Ordinance," that the
Chief of Police be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place and maintain one (1)
parking sign along the curb on the east side of Chestnut Street, fifty (50) feet south of
Encinal Avenue, containing the words and figures "Parking Limit 1 Hr., 900 A. M. to 0:00
P. M., Sundays and Holidays excepted," or words to that effect, in clerk blue UT black letters
of not les s than one and onehalf (15) inches in height, on a yellow field.
