MUSICIPAL CODE, AYD APPROPRIATING THE SUL

PURPOSE.
WHEREAS' ORDINANCE NO. 535 NEW SERIES', enacting the Municipal Coda, has been
passed by this ou 311, and
WE---J t ia necessary under the provisions of the Charter of the City of
hianeda that said ordinance be published once in thc Alameda Times-Star, the
official newspaper of said City, arid
WHEREAS the codification of the regulatory and, administrative ordinances of
the City into such Municipal Code has been in progress for the past three years,
and the composition and type therefor has been out up by the said Alameda Times-
3ter during said period, and
WHEREAE the said Alameda Times-,tar has offered to publish said 'Code and to
print said Code in book form, and certain portions thereof in pamphlet form, es
follows: 1000 Code Books; 500 booklets cohtaining the Plumbing and Gas Appliance
Charters, and 500 booklets containing the Electrical Code chapter, for the aggreg-
ate sum of 46449, and
53.5A the sum or .3500 has heretofore been paid to said Alameda Times-Star
an account of said publication and for setting up and holding the typo for said
Municipal Code during the past three years,
NOW ThEREFOR, BE IT RESOLVED BY TEE COUWCIL OF THE CITY Of ALAMEDA that the
Alameda 'Municipal Code, as enacted by Ordinance No. 535 New Series, be published
in book form by the City Clerk, under the supervision or the City Attorney, and
that such book may also include such indices and other matter as may be deemed
advisable by said Attorney.
RESOLVED FURTHER that the offer of the Alameda Times-Star for said Public-
ation he, and is hereby, accented and that the City Clerk order said ordinance
published end have printed 1000 Alameda Municipal Codes, 500 booklets containing
the Plumbing and Gas Appliance Chapters of said Code, and 500 booklets containing
the Electrical Code 'Chapter, in accordance with said offer.
RESOLVED, FURTHER that the sam of 42949 be, an is hereby appropriated out of
the General Fund of said City for the purpose of defraying Inc expense of the
publication and printing of said God and booklets, that said mien be credited in,
amount of 41275 to Aceount 28-h and 1074 to Account 26-D,
RESOLVED FURTHER that the Auditor and Treasurer of the City of Alameda be,
aod are hereby directed, to make said transfers on their respective books.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in
adjourned regular meeting assembled an the 4th day of April, 1935, by the Tollovi-
ing vote, to wit:
