ESTABLISHING RECREATIONAL YACHT HARBOR A.ND
AQUATIC PARK; APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFIC.-
ATION3 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION THEREOF AND PRO-
VIDING FOR THE l‘W,;AGElaNT OF SAME.
BE IT RESOLVED BY TEE QoupcaL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that a, Yacht Harbor
end Aquatic Fark, to be used exclusively for recreational purposes, consist-
ing of certain wharves, docks and other recreational facilities, upon the
waterfront and tidelands of the City of Alameda, at a point near the Alameda
Mole, lying south of the Southern Pacific right,of,way, and west of the lands
heretofore leased to the Alameda Airport, Inc., as more particularly set forth
in the plans and specifications thereof prepared by the City Engineer, and on
file with the City Clerk, is hereby established.:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Recreational Yacht Harbor and Aquatic
Park shall be used by pleasure watereraft, and for recreational purposes,
only, and shall not be used for the purpose of docking or mooring commercial
watercraft of any kind whatsoever.
Be IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said plans and specifications for said
Recreational Yacht Harbor and Aquatic Park be, and the same are hereby app-
roved, and that the performance and completion of the work and improvemento
specified in said plans and specifications be, and the same is, hereby author*,
ized.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Recreational Yacht Harbor and Aquatic
Park is hereby placed under the jurisdiction of the Department of Administrat-
ion of the City of Alameda, and that the management thereof is hereby vested
in the City Manager of said City, and said City Manager is hereby directed to
prepare and submit to the Council, for its approval, rules and regulations
for the government of said Recreational Yacht Harbor and Aquatic Park, and a
schedule of charges for the use of INC facilities. of the same.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Beeolution was
duly and regularly introduced end adopted by the Council of Inc City of Alameda
in adjourned regular meeting assembled on the 12th day of April, 1935, by the
following vote, to wit:
AIES: Councilmen Eschun, Morris, Tiedemann and President Murray, (4).
NOES: None,
NCT VOTING: Councilman Roetke.
ABSENT: None.
