Resolution 01967RE3OLUTI01\ NO. 1967. REECLUTION OF PUBLIC INTYPEET AND EMCNSSITT, LIBPARY 30 03. RESOLVED AND DETERMINED, by the City Connell uf the City of Alahada, that public interest and nedeahlty" of said City and its inhabitants demand the acquis- ition, construction and completion of the following municipal imhrovement, to-wit. The coustruetion of a branch public library building en or near Wechter Street in said City; Rh:30E7ED AND DETERMINED further, that the coat of the acquisition, construct- ion and completion of said municipal improvement will be too groat to be paih out of the ordinary annual insome and revenue of said City, wherefore it is the intent- ibn of the City Council of said City to call an election and aubmit to the qualif- ied voters of said City the proposition to iasue and sell the bonds of said City in the amount ot $2t,500,awhich, together with an additional sem of seproximately 20,.500. to be requested as a grant from the Federal Emergency Adadnistration of Public, Works, will be sufficient to pay the cost thereof. 71, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing 0 solution was duly and regularly introduced end adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regulaz meeting assembled on the 2nd day of July, 3:930, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Broyles, ohen, Morris, Munro, and President Roebke, (5).
