AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST
NHS BOARD Cr PUBLIC UTILITIES RE ELECTRIC SUBSTATION
WHEREAS, according to our information end belief, the Board of Public Utility
Ceranissioners are proposing to go ahead with the: construction of an electric, substation
on the corner of Eagle Avenue and Mintura Street; and,
WHEREAS, the eenstruction of such a substation lo unnecessary, and would not
only constitute a violation of the Alameda Zone Grdinaneer but would also involve, the
inexcusable waste of mere than 4200,000 of public money, trerefsre, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Attorney he, and he is hereby authorized ard in-
structed to take such legal steps es may be necessary to prevent the construction of
such r substation, and the waste of public funds.

duly end regularly introduced and adopted by the Ceuncil of the City of hiaueda in
