RELATIVE TO THE EXTERMINATION OF RATS
WHEREAS, officials of the W. P. A., cooperating with the Health Depart-
ment, have requested a renewal of the authority heretofore given for entering
on private property in the work of exterminating rodents; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Alameda, that officials and em-
ployees of the Health Department of the City be, and they are hereby, authorized
and empowered to enter upon private property for the purpose of setting rat traps
and poison, and take such other measures as they may deem necessary in the work
of exterminating rodents.
RESOLVED, that a certified copy of this resolution be forwarded to the
W. P. A. and to Dr. Paul Baron, City Health Officer.
I, the undersiEned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 19th dLy of May, 1936, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Broyles, Munro and President Roebke, (3).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilmen Eschen and Morris, (2).
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the official
