GRANTING VILLADSEN BROTHERS', INCORPORATED, THIRTY
DAYS EXTENSION OF TIME ON 1HE LIBRARY CONTRACT.
WHEREAS, on and as of January 31, 1936, the City of Alameda entered
into an agreement with Villadsen Brothers., Incorporated, for the construotion of
branch library building on the southwest corner of Eighth Street and Santa Clara
Avenue, said city, which agreement calls for the completion of said work in 120
days; and,
WHEREAS, said Villadsen Brothers, Incorporated, as contractor, have re-
quested thirty days extension of time for the completion of said work, and Mr.
Carl Werner, the architect of said branch library building has recommended that said
request for 30 days extension of time be granted; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that Villadsen Brothers, Incorporated, as contractor for the
construction of said branch library building be, and they are hereby, granted thirty'
days extension of time for the completion of said building.
RESOLVED, that three certified copies of this resolution be sent to the
Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works, Hewes Building, 995 Market Street,
San Francisco.

and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in
adjourned regular meeting assembled on the 23rd day of May, 1936, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Broyles, Munro and President Roebke,(3).
NOES: None ABSENT: Councilmen Eschen and Morris, (2).
