APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF $2500
FROM THE BUREAU OF ELECTRICITY FUND TO THE
GENERAL FUND FOR TEE PURCHASE OF A TWO WAY RADIO
SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the Board of Public Utilities Commissioners has by its Resolution
No. 159, transferred 42500 from the Bureau of Electricity Fund to the General Fund
as a special dividend for buying a two way police radio system; now, therefore, be
it
RESOLVED that the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized and instructed to
join with the Board of Public Utilities Commissioners and the Board of Police and
Fire Commissioners in ratifying the application heretofore made to the Federal
Communications Commission for the right to use a short wave length for radio trans-
mission, and for permits to construct and operate Mobile sending and receiving radio
sets as part of the Police service of the City of Alameda.
RESOLVED that the transferring of 2500 from the Bureau of Electricity
Fund to the General Fund, for the purpose aforementioned, be, and the same is hereby,
ratified, approved and confirmed, and the Auditor and Treasurer are hereby directed
to make the necessary transfers on their respective books showing a revision of the
budget for the year ending June 30, 1936, in accordance therewith.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in
adjourned regular meeting assembled on the 9th day of June, 1936, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Broyles, Munro and President Roebke, (3).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilmen Eschen and Morris, (2).
IN WITNES3 WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the official
seal of said City this 10th day of June, 1936.
