RESOLVED BY TEE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the following officers
end employees of the City of Alameda, to wit: the officers referred to in Section 2-12
of the. Charter of said City, all memberc and employees of then Police Depertment, the
Building inspector, the Food InspectorA the Sanitary and Plumbing Insnector, the Pound
Master and all _Playground Directors, shall, before entering upon the duties of their
rencective offices or employments each take the following' cath of office end file the
same with the City Clerk:
"I dc solemnly owear (or affirm) thst I will support the
constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State
of California 5nd that I will faithfully discharge the duties of the
°Mee of of the City of Alameda according
to the best of my ability."

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introftuced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular
meeting ansemlied on the hth day of July, 1937, by the following vote, to wit:
