ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR, AND AUTHORIZING
THE CONSTRUCTION OF, A CHAIN-MINK GALVANIZED FENCE AT
MOKINDEY PARK IN TEM CITY OF UIMSEDAM
REMOLVET BY Tua COUNCIL OF THE CITY ALAMEDA that the plans and specifi-
cations for the construction of a galvanized chain-link fence and gates at MbEinley
Park in the City of Alameda, filed. in the office of the City Clerk on May 3, 1938,
be and. the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED FURTHER that the conetruction of said galvanized chain-link fence
and Fates, in accordance with the plans and specifications thRrefor, be anb the same
is hereby authorized.
RESOLVED FURTHER that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed.
bids up to the heur of 8:15 oinieck P.M. on Tuesday, the 17th day. of Mey, 193@, for
the constr uction. of a galvanized chain-link fence and zmates at McKinley Mirk, in
accordance with. said plane and specifications, to whic :h. reference is hereby made for
full details and description- Bide shall be delivered to the City Clerk at the City
Nell in Alameda, California.
All. proposals shall. be presented under se, led. cover, and shall. be aboompathed
by. a cashier,s check Cr certified check, drawn on a responsible bank ravable to the
order of the City of Alaareda, fur an amount equal to at least tea ter cent of the
agfregate amount of such proposal, which check, and the amount thereof, shall be
forfeited to the City of Alameda as agreed and liquidated damages by any tidier to
whom. the contract is awarded in the event that such bidder shall fail to enter into
a contract in the 'manner and witlid the time set forth in said plans and spedlficatione.
Bidders will be furnished forms of prepesala upon application to the City
Engineer, and all propoaals shall be made on forms so furnished; bids must be made
without erasure or alteration.
Proposals shal1 .. specify a lump sum price. Tte price bid. must include all
State emd Federal taxes.
Ite City Council reserves the rignt to re3ecI any and all bids.
Too City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise in the Alameda Times-Star
a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolution
and of said rlams and specificatioes.
