RESOLUTION OF ACCEPT,:NCE AND 00NSENT TO RECORDATION
WHEREAS RUTH E. CORNICE. and ARNOLD E. CORNICE, her husband, EAST BAY TITLE
INSURANCE SONY, a corporation, as Trustee, and H.R.GROTH and BERTHA E. GROTH, his
wife, as Grantors, did on the 2nd day or July, 1938, deliver to the City of Alameda,
a municipal corporation, as Grantee, a certain deed dated June 24, 1938, executed
by and between said Grantors to said Grantee, wherein the said Grantors grant, trans-
fer and convey to said Grantee that certain real property situated in the City of
Alameda, County of Alameda, State of California, and particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the Southwesterly line of
Otis Drive„(,cormerly Bay Island Avenue) distant thereon
South 56 J' 30" East 282.67 feet from the most Northern
corner of Block I as said avenue and block are shown on the
Map of Levelling Division hereinafter referred to; thence
South 37° 23' West 203 feet to e point; thence South 56°
501 30" Enot 56 feet to a point; thence North 37° 23' East
203 feet to a point or the Southwesterly line of said Otis
Drive; thence Westerly along the aforesaid line 56 feet,
more or less, to the point of beginning.
BEING a portion of the land shown on the map en-
titled, "Plat of Levelling Division, Alameda, " and filed
in the office of the County Recorder of Alameda County,
October 18, 1887,
for the purpose of maintaining thereon a pubpic street or highway, as set forth in
said deed,
N30 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ATEED- that
the aforesaid deed be, and the same is hereby accepted, and the said City Council,
acting for and in behalf of said Grantee, hereby consents to recordation of said
deed and orders this resolution to be attached thereto, as required by Section 1158
of the Civil Code of the State of California.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular
meeting assembled on the 5th. any of July, 1938, by the following vote, to wit:
