RHERFAB pursnant to resolution Ne.• 19E5. of the Council of the City of Alameda, the
City of Alameda through. its duly authorized officials heretofore executed and filed its
application to the United States of America through the Federal Emergency Administration.
of Public Works for a grant to aid in financing the constructions of a sub-aqueous single
tract electric tunnel. under and. across the San Antonio Estuary, running from the Alameda
side, from the eastern boundnry of thc Alariedn Airpprt, with a single Drank electric
railway running northerly to the existing tracks of Seventh. Street in. the City of Oakland,

is hereby authorized to execute and file an amendatory application on behelf of tile City
of .Alameda, to the United States Of America for a grant to aid in financing the con-.
otructicn of o. twc-lane sub-aqueoaa vehicular tunnel under and across the San Antonio
Estuary, running from a point approximately one hundred feet west of the south portal
cf the Posey TI bo in Alameda, to a connoction with Webster Street 111 the City- of
Oakland.

hereby authorized ond dirc cted. to furnish such information as the United State of
America, through the Federal Fmerency Administration of Public Works, may reasonably
request in connection with the application which. is herein authorized. to be filed.
