ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING VITRIFIED IRONSTONE
SEWER PIPE TO THE CITY CF ALAMEDA, CALLING TOR LIDS ea)
DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE THE SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DIAMEDA that the specifications
for furnishing Vitrified Ironstone Sever Pipe to the City of Alameda during the
fiscal year ending June 30, 1939, filed in the office of the City Clerk on September
20, 1938, be and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED FURTHER that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive bids
up to the hour of 815 o'clock P.M. on Tuesday, the fourth day of October, 1938, for
the furnishing to the City, of Vitrified Ironstone Sewer Pipe in accordance with said
specifications. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk at the City Hall,in Alameda,
California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Bids for Furnishing
Sewer Pipe".
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the charter
of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right
is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise in the Alameda Times-Star, e
notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolution
and of said specifications.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resoluticn aas duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular
meeting assembled on the 20th day of September, 1938, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Carrington, Godfrey, Maurer, Morris and President
Weichhert, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
