ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING LUMBER
TO THE CITY o ALAMEDA, CALLING FOR BIDS AND
DIRECTI.NO THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE THE SANE.
RESOLVED BY TES COUNCIL GE TUE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the specifications for
furnishing Lumber to the City of Alameda during the fiscal year ending June 30, 1939,
filed in the office of the City Clerk on October 4, 1938, be and the same are hereby
approved and adopted.
RESOLVED FURTHER that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive bids
up to the hour of 8:15 o'clock P.M. on Tuesday, the eighteenth day of October, 15'36,
for the furnishing to the City, of Lumber in accordance with said specifications. Bids
Ibust be presented to the City Clerk at the City Hall in Alameda, California, under seal-
ed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Bids for Furnishing Lumber".
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the charter
of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The
right is reserved to reject any or all bids,
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise in the Alameda Times- ,Litar,
a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolution
and of said specifications.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular
meeting assembled en the 4th day of October, 1938, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Carrington, Godfrey, Maurer, Morris and President Welch-
hart, (3).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
