ADOPTING SFECIEIGATIONS FOR TURNISHINO STREET 1 IC1HTING
STANDARDS TO ME CITY OF ALAMEDA, CALLING FOR IDS AND
DIRECTING, TEE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTPSE THE si•
RESOLVED BY THF COUNCIL CF THE CITY OF ALAT,T1DA that the specifications
for furnishing street lighting standards to the City of Alameda, filed in tie office
of the City Clerk on October 5, 1938, be and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED FURTHER that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
bids up to the hour of 8:15 c!clock P.M. on Tuesday, the eighteenth day of October,
1938, for the furnishing to the City,of street lighting standards in accordance with
said specifications. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk in Alameda, Calif-
ornia, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Bids for Furnishing
Street Lighting Standards".
Contrect, if awarded, will he awarded subject to the provisions of the
charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid.
The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise in the Alameda Times-Star,
a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolu-
tion and of said specifications.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify' that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in
adjourned regular meeting assembled on the 5th day of October, 1938, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Carrington, Godfrey, Maurer, Morris and President
Seichhart, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
