RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL CY TEE CITY CF ALAMEDA that the Specifications
and Provisions for furnishing one electrically operated, multiple printed off totals
cash register to the City of Alameda, No. MS 4-392, filed in the office of the City Clerk
on April 18, 1939, be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED FURTHER that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 815 o'clock p.m. on Tuesday, the second day of May, 1939,
for the furnishing of one electrically operated, multiple printed off totals cash register,
in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the
City Clerk, in the City Hall in Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked
on the outside "Proposal for Furnishing Cash Register."
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The
right is reserved to reject any or all bids,
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise in the Alameda Times-Star,
a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolution
and. of said Specifications and Provisions.

duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in
regular meeting assembled on the 18th day of April, 1939, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Carrington, Godfrey, Maurer and President Weichhart, (4).
NOES: None. ABSENT: Councilman Morris.
