ACCEPTING CONVEYANCE OF CERTAIN EASEMENTS OVER
PORTIONS OF LOT 4 OF "PLAT OF Ti E NORTON
PROPERTY ALAMEDA CAL."
WHEREAS, a certain indenture dated February 1, 1939 made by and between
DAVIS HESKIN and ETIEL NESKIN, his wife, CLEMENTINE SEABORN, THOS. 0,D. BUCKLEY, BALPA
O. MILLER. and MIRIAN MILLER, his wife, as grantors, and the CITY OF ALAMEDA, a municipal
corporation, as grantee, conveying to said City of Alameda certain easements and rights
of way over, under, along, and/or across certain parcels of land situated in the City of
Alameda, County of Alameda, State of California, bounded and described as follows:
"PARCEL I:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the Northeast line
of Lot 4 with the Northwestern line of Grand Street, as said lot and
street are shown on the Map hereinafter referred to; thence North-
westerly along said line of Lot 4 a distance of 288 feet; thence at
right angles Southwesterly 5 feet; thence at right angles South-
easterly 238 feet to a point on said line of Grand Street; thence
Northeasterly along said line of Grand Street 5 feet to the point
of beginning
Being a portion of Lot 4, as said lot is delineated and so
designated upon that certain map entitled, "Plat of the Norton
Property, Alameda, Cal." filed March 22, 1e79 in Liber 5 of Maps,
page 4, in the office cf the County Recorder of Alameda County.
PARCEL II:
Beginning at a point on the Northwestern line of Grand Street
155.666 feet Southwest of the point of intersection of the northeast
line of Lot 4 with said line of Grand Street, as said lot and street
are shown on the man hereinbefore referred to; thence at right angles
Northwesterly 130 feet; thence at right angles Southwesterly 5 feet;
thence at right angles Northwesterly 70 feet; thence at right angles
Southwesterly 5 feet; thence at right angles Southeasterly 120 feet;
thence at right angles Northeasterly 5 feet; thence at right angles
Southeasterly 80 feet to a point on said line of Grand Street; thence
at right eagles Northeasterly along said line of Grand Street 5 feet
to the point of beginning",
has been duly executed and delivered to the City of Alameda by the said grantors;
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF' ALAMEDA that the aforementioned
indenture be, and the same is hereby, accepted on behalf of the City of Alameda, and
the said City Council, acting for and in behalf of said City, hereby consents to the
recordation of said indenture and orders this resolution to be attached thereto, es
required by Section 1158 of the Civil Code of the State of California.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in
regular meeting assembled on the leth day of April, 1939, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Carrington, Godfrey, Maurer and President Weichhart, (4).
NCES: None. ABSENT: Councilman Morris, (.1).
