ADOPTING SPECICIFICATIONS FOR BORING A WELL, CALLING
FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING TFE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE
THE SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications
for boring a weli on the Alameda Municipal Coif Course, in the City of Alameda,
No. PW 5-593, filed in the office of the City Clerk on June 8, 1939, be, and the same
are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED FURTHER that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed
bids up to the hour of 5 o'clock on Thursday the 15th day of June, 1939, for the boring
of a well on the Alameda Municipal Golf Course, in accordance with said Specifications.
Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Mall, Alameda, California, under
sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside "Proposal For Boring Well".
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions of the
charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid.
The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star,
e notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolution
and of said Specifications.
1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in adjourned
regular meeting assembled on the 8th day of June, 1939, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Carrington, Maurer, Morris and President Weichhart, (4).
NOES: None,
ABSENT: Councilmen Godfrey, (1).
