ALAMEDA, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING THE CITY

RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications
and Provisions for furnishing one new, 1941 model, steel. cab 11 ton dumb truck
to the City of Alameda, No. MS-9-4011, filed in the office of the City Clerk on
October 15, 1940, be, and the same are hereby, reve and adopted.
RESORTED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will re-
ceive sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock P. M. on Wednesday, November 0,
1940, for thE furnishing to the City' of one new, 1341 model, steel. cab 11 ton
dump truck. in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be
presente(3 . to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, .California, under sealed
cover and plainly marked. on the outside "Proposal for Dump Truck".
Gcmtract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions of
the charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and
best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed.. to advertise, in the Alameda Times-
Star, a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this
resolution and of said S. eelfications and Provisions.
