As ,
WHEREAS, a certain indenture, dated October 7, 1;40, made by and between
Giusebse Corpaneto and Maria Carpanetc, his wife, as Grantors, and the city of
Alameda, a municipal corporation, as Grmntee, conveying to 5aid City of Alameda
the following described real property, for the purpose of maintaining therein and
thereon a public street and highway:
The Eastern Forty (40) feet of Lets 15 and 16, in Elock 17,
as said Lots and Block are shown and delineated on the "New
Map of Woodstock" - filed May 8, 1875 in book 6 of Yaps at
page 15, in the office of the County Recorder of Alameda
County, situated in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda,
State of California,'
has been duly executed and delivered to the City of Alameda by the said Grantors;
NOW, THEREFORE, 14 IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE OTTY OF ALAMEDA,
that the aforementioned indenture be, and the same 15 hereby, accepted on behalf
of the City of Alameda, and said City Council, acting for and in behalf of said
City, hereby consents to the recordation of said indenture and orders this
resolution to be attached thereto, as required by Section 1158 of the Civil Code
of the Otate of California.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 19th day of November, 140, by the following
vote, to wit:
