the City' of Alameda, California, by a revocable permit dateb August 19, 1.939,
granted. permission to the United. States of America to constrnot and maintain
three storm lrainage pipes across tide and. submerged. lands of the City adjoining
the Naval Air Station, Alambea, California; and
WHEEEES, pursuant to the authority. contained in Resolution No. 2229,
11 City' of Alameda, by' a permit dated December 6, 1939, amended the aforesaid
revocable permit of August 19, 1939 and granted permission to the United States
of America to construct and maintain through. and across the tide and submerged
lands adjoining the Naval Air Station, Alameda, California, a sewer outfall ex-
tending into San Antonio Estuary, in the location shown. on Blueprint of Ebrds
and Docks Ora:aims No. 1361E8 attaohed to and made a part of sadb, amended permit,
and
WEENIES, the United States of America, through. its Navy Department, has
trade application to the City of Alamerla for an amendmont to said permits to permit,
the United -Ttates of Ameribe under tho same terms and. conditions set forth in
said original instrument to construct and maintain through End across the tide
and submerged. lands adjoining the 4)111 Air Station, Alamoba, Oalifornie, earned
by the City of Alameda, a 42 inch storm drain extending into San. Antonio Ebtoary,
in 1') location. shown on Blueprint ea Yards and Docks Drawing Po. 136178 attached
to and made a part of said permit of December 6, 1939; and
WHEREAS, a form of an amendment of said revocable permits, containing
the terms and conditions thereof, has been presentee to this Council at this meet-
