ACCEPTING CONVEYANCE TO TEE CIREE OE ALAMEDA OF AN
EASEFENT Foa LEVEE PURPOSES ON BAY FARM ISLAND AND
CONSENTING TO THE RECORDATION THEREOF,
WHEREAS, the Grantors hereinafter named heretofore executed and
delivered to the City of Alameda R certain deed, dated. Decacher lb, 1941, wherein
Alameda City Land Co., a corporation, is Grantor, and. the City of Alameda, a mumi-
alba' corporation, is Grantee, and by which deed the said Grantor grants, trans-
fers and conveys unto the said G-ramteo an easement and right to construct, recon-
struct and maintain for five years a levee, beakhead or seawall in, over or across
that certain real property situated in. are City of Alameda and more particularly
described in said deed:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BYETHE COUNCIL OF THE CETY OF ALAkEDA
that tte aforesaid deed be, and the same i3 hereby, accepted and the said City
Council, acting for and in behalf of said Grantee, hereby consents to the recor-
dation of said deed and orders this resolution to be attached thereto, as requi.red
by Section. 1158 of the Civil Code of bhe State of California,

duly and regularly introduced and adored by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 20th day of January, 1942, by the following
