ADOPTION OF PROPOSED Ci[ADTER AMENDMENTS.
KiENEAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article XIX of tide Charter of
the City of Alameda and of Resolution No. 2828, heretofore adopted ty this Council,
a Senora' Municipal Election is mallod and ordered to be held in the City of Ala-
meda, State of California, on Tuesday, March. 9, 1943; and
WEEREA5, pursuant to Resolution No. 2829, adopted by the Council of the
City of Alameda on January 5, 1943, the Counuil of said city, on its own motion,
ordered submitted, and did submit, to the electors of said sity, to be voted upon
at the General Municipal Election to be bead therein or MSrola 9, 1943, seven sepa-
rate proposals for amending the Charter of said City of Alameda, whNsh proposolo
were sot forth in. said resolution and separate' and consecutively autthered as
Proposal No. 1 to Proposal No. 7 inclusive;
NOW, THENEEEBE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE OTTE OF ALAMEDA
that the title and statement of each proposal for the eduction of said proposed
charter amendments respectively, as the same shall appear on the ballot to be
