IN MEMORIAM OF CHARLES CURTIS ANDERSON,
In the sudden and untimely death. of Charles Curtis Ahderoon, Alameda
IVIS lost one of her foremost citizens.
Nis loyal and friendly dispostion, his upright and splendid character
endeared him to all with whom he came in content.
As a former Councilman, who had been elected. by an overwhelming vote
of the people of this community, and subsequently, as the Executive Director of
tile Housing Authority of the City of Alameda, he was untiring in his efforts to
promote a higher standard of living conditions for the recant great influx of
people to this city. Nis integrity and conscientiousness in performing his duties
earned the great respect of his ousiness associates,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT toll 1) that we, the members of the Council of
the City of Alameda, in regular session assembled, hereby express and record, on
behalf 01 ourselves and of the citizens of the City of Alameda, our sorrow and
deep regret for Lho death of Charles Oartis Anderson.
RESOLVED, FURTEER, that this resolution be screed upor . the minutes of
this meeting and a copy be transmitted to Mrs. Anderson that it may extend bo
her and to the members of the family an expreesion of our sincere sympathy end
heartfelt conanience.
1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled or the 2th day of ianuary, 1944, by the following
vote, to wit:
