Resolution 02983307 RESOLUTION NO. 2983 IN MEMORIAM 04 04O4GE EATON SFERDECK. With profound sorrow, the Council of the City of Alameda records the death of one of its most loyal and beloved former officials, George Eaton Sperbeck. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, in recognition of his long and untiring services as Assistant Engineer and later as City Engineer, the Council of the City of Alameda wishes to express its sense of personal loss and its appreciation of his professional ability. In his official. capacity he gave unreservedly of his time and efforts. As a man he endeared himself to all who knew him. To such as he there is no successor. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that this resolution be spread in full upon the minutes of this meeting and a copy be transmitted to Mrs. Sperbeck, that it may extend to her an expression of sincere sympathy and heartfelt condolence.
