AUTHORIZING PRESENTATION TO THE COUNTY AUDITOR OF SHARE
CLAIMS FOR MONEYS RECEIVED FROM RENTAL OF TAX DEEDED
LANDS IN THE CITY OF ALAiEDA.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 6, Part 6 of the Revenue
and Taxation Code of the State of California, the State Controller has leased
certain tax deeded lands situated in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State
of California, and, in accordance with the provisions of Sec. 3659 of said. Code,
has remitted to the Treasurer of said County of Alameda the proceeds received
from the rental of said lands; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of said Sec. 3659 of said Code the
Auditor of the County of Alameda, by notice dated June 29, 1944, addressed to
the City Clerk of the City of Alameda, notified the governing body of said City
of the receipt of said moneys and transmitted with said notice the portion of
the Controller's statement showing the source of the revenue remitted and derived
from lands situated within the City of Alameda; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the City of Alameda heretofore levied general
municipal and assessment taxes against the several parcels of land described in
the statement of the State Controller as hereinafter more particularly set forth,
to wit:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
that, pursuant to Chapter 6, Part 6 of the Revenue and Taxation Code of the
State of California, a share claim on behalf of the City of Alameda setting
forth the amount of the city's taxes against each of the parcels of land herein-
before described and claiming the city's share of the moneys received by the
Treasurer of the County of Alameda as aforesaid, be forwarded to the County
Auditor of the County of Alameda, and the Mayor of the City of Alameda and the
City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute such claim on behalf
of the city.
