DOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR UARRY WASTE AND RIP-
RESOLVED BY BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications
and Provisions for furnishing Quarry Waste and. Rip-rap Stone to the City of Alameda
for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1945, No. MS 7-44-5, be, andthh same are hereby,
approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the Gity of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock, p. m., on Tuesday, August 1, 1944, for
the furnishing to the City of Quarry Waste and. Rip-rap Stone for the fiscal year
ending June 30, 1945 in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids
must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under
sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for Quarry Waste and
Rip-rap Stone."
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions of the
charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best
bid. the right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed. to advertise, in the Alameda Times-
Star, a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this
Resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 18th day of July, 1944, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Branscheid, Howe, Osborn and President Godfrey, (4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Jones, (1).
