ACCEPTING AN INDETERIAINATE REVOCABLE PERMIT FROM THE UNITED
STATES OF AMERICA TO USE A 29 FOOT STRIP OF LAND COMPRISING
A PART OF THE NAVAL AIR STATION FOR WIDENING ATLANTIC AVE-
NUE; AND AUTHORIZING, THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID PERMIT ON
BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA.
WHEREAL, the United Stales of Americe, reprehented by the Secretary of
the Navy, nes offered to grant to the City' of Alameda an indeterminate revocable
permit to use a 29 foot strip of land comprising a part of the Naval Air Station,
at Alameda, California, as a roadbed for the purpose of increasing the width of
Atlantic Avenue, said 29 fact strip being mure particularly described on that
certain plat, dated April 9, 1942, P. W. Drawing No. 446, bearing the legend,
'Naval Air Station Alameda, Calif. proposed revocable permit; for widening At-
lantic Ave., to City of Alameda", photostat of said plat being attached to the
form of permit hereinafter referred to; and
WHEREAS, a orm of said indeterminate revocable permit containing the
terms and. conditions thereof has been presented to this Council at this meeting,
and this Council is familiar with the conditions thereof;
NOW, THEREFCRE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TEE COUNCIL CF TEE CITY OF ALAMEDA
that the aforesaid indeterminate revocable permit and the terms and conditions
thereof he, and tne same is hereby, accepted by the City of Alameda; that the
Mayor of the City of Alameda be, and te is hereby, authorised and directed to
execute on behalf of said City a written acceptance of the terms and conditions
set forth in said permit.

duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 5th day of December, 1944, by the following
