RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMNDA that pursuant to the
provisions of Article X of the Charter cf the City of Alameda, and upon nomina-
tion of the Mayor, Albert S. Ridley is hereby appointed to the office of member
of the Civil Service Board of the City cf Alameda for a term commencing July 1,
1945, and expiring June 30, 1950, or until his successor is appointed and
oualified.

the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 19th day cf June, 1945, by the following
