AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF RELEASE OF ALL CLAIMS AGAINST
KEY SYSTEM IN COLLISION BETWEEN POLICE CAR AND BUS.
WHEREAS, on or about February 8, 1945, a Key System bus collided
with the Cityto police car No. 3 at the intersection of Everett Street and
Lincoln Avenue; and
WHEREAS, Key System has agreed. to a settlement whereby said company
will pay to the City one thousand five hundred fifty-nine and 03/100 Dollars
01,559.03) in consideration of the City's executing a release of all its
claims against said Key System in connection with the aforesaid accident;
NOW, THEREECRE, EE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF ALAMEDA
that the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute,
the City Attorney to witness, and the City Clerk to attest, a release of all
claims, in pursuance of the settlement hereinabove set forth.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in adjourned. regular meeting assembled en the 26th day of June, 1945, , by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Howe, Jones, Osborn, Sweeney and President
Franscheid, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
