5752 "CITIZENS DOOLITTLE CONHTETTEE."
WHEREAS, the. Nayor ef the it of Alameda po inted a Citizens'
Commit:tee consisting of Sttaner Cmham, Chairmah, 'John 3. ooka, James K.
Bardtt and Albert G. Burns to formulate necessary plans for the reception,
of Lieutenant aoneral James H. Doolittle in this City on 'November 2, 1945;
and
WEEREAS, said committee rendered exceptionally -valuable and effi-
cient services to the end that the reception of said Senora' Doolittle vos
one of the finest affairs of its kind ever held in the City of Alameda in
honor of a promipont peroonage.
TOW, THEREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED TY THE COUNCIL OF TIE CITY 02' ;L 'ED,
that tne thanks and commendation of this Council be, and the same is hereby,
tendered to each of the members of the above named Committee for the any hours
of service as personally rendered by each of said members in the accam.slishment
o1' this Purpose; and.
BE IT IhfRrIITTER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this resolution shall
be forwarded to each of the committeemen above named.
