CREATING THE POSITION OF POLICE OFFICER-IDENTIFICATION
EXPERT TN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA,
PRESCRI.BING THE DUTIES AND FIXING THE SALARY THEREOF.
BE IT RESOLVED BY TEE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF A DA as follows:
Section 1. The position of "Police Officer-Identifioation Expert"
is hereby created and established in the Polies Department of the City of Alameda.
Section 2. The duties of the position of Police Officer-Identification
Expert, and. of the person holding such position, shall be as follows:
To do all phases of classifying, searching, filing and indexing of fin-
gerprints and other criminal records, photographic work respecting persons, ob-
jects, incidents and documents, and other related work required as may be assigned
or directed.
Section 3. The salary for the position of Police Officer-Identification
Expert be, and is hereby, fixed at $250.00 per month for a forty-hour week, and
additional compensation at the rate of ((1.44 per hour for work over forty (40)
hours and up to forty-eight (48) hours.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 4th day of December, 1945, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Howe, Jones, Osborn, Sweeney and President
Bransoheid, (5).
NOES: None,
ABSENT: None.
