ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING QUARRY WASTE AND
EARTH FILL TO TUE CITY OF ALAMEDA, CALLING FOR DIDS AND
DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAYE.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications
and Provisions for furnishing;
Item (a) Quarry Waste;
Itom (b) Earth Till at City Dump,
to the City of Alameda, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1946, and ending
June 30, 1.947, No. MS 5-46-6, be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour or 8;0,5 o'clock, P. I1., on Tuesday, the 4th day of
June, 1946, for the furnishing to the City of:
Item (a) Quarry Waste;
item (b) Earth Fill at City Dump,
in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented
to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and
plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for Quarry Waste and Earth. Fill," or
similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best
bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-
Star, a. notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this
Resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 21st day of May, 1946, . by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Eowe, Jones, Osborn, Sweeney and President
Branscheid, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
