ADOPTING SPECIFICATIaNS, SPECIAL PROVISTONS AND PLANS
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A BASEETIALL COURT AT FRANELIN
PARK, CANLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERY TO
ADVERTISE SATE
WHEEdEAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions
and Plans for the construction of a basketball court at Franklin Park, numbered
PW 2-55-3 and filed in the office of the City Clerk on February 1, 1955;
NOW TBEREFCL, I3 11 2lSONVED BY THE c cio c II 02 TEE CITY OF XLAISEDA that
the aforesaid Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, nunbered and filed as
aforesaid, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FTRTHER, that the Council of the City of Alsheda will receivu
sealed bids up to the hour of S:05 etblock P. H. on Tuesday, February 15, 1955,
for the construction of, and the furnishing to the City of Alamoda of all labor,
materials, machinery, tools and .ednipment necessary far the work hereinabove
referred to, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Daidomust be
presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hell, in Alameda, California, under
sealed cover and plainly narked on the outside, "Proposal for Construction of
Basketball Court at Franklin Park", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest
and best bid. Ite right is reserpeR to reject arg or all bids.
Said Specifications nad Provisions may be had. by any prospective. bidder
on application to the City EnE;incer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda,
California_
The City Clerk is hereby direoted to advertise, in. tha Alameda Time-
Star e notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this
resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.
