ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND FLANS
FOR INSTALLATION OF AN IRRIGATION SIY3TEM. FOR THE NEW
NUNIGIPAL GOLF COURSE, CALLING 100 DLLS AND DERECTING
CITY CLEIRK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
WaEREAS, the City- Engineer [IRS prepared Specifications, Special Provisions
and Plans for the installation of an irrigation system for the New Municipal Golf
Course, numbered PW 5-55-12 afl d.. filed in the office of the City Clerk on July 19,
l.955;
NOW THERIPOPE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA thFvt
the aforesaid Specifications, Special Provisions and Flans, numbered and filed as
aToresaid, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FI10 7R., that the performance and completion of the work speci-
fied in said Specifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby authcrized.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the CRity of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8105 o'clock P. M. on Tuesday, August 2, 1955, for
the furnishing to the City of all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment
necessary' for the work hereinabove referred to, in accordance with said Specifica-
tions and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall,
in Alameda, Galifornla, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Pro-
posal fcr Installation of Irrigation System for Hew Municipal Golf Course", or
similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest
and best bid. The right is reserved to 'reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder
on application to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, (ali-
fornia.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star
a notice ceiling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolu-
tion and of said Specifications and Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing hesolution was duly
and rewolarly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in
regular -neot1rr assembled on the 19th day of July, 1955, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Cot nollmen Haag, Hove, Moresi and Vice- resident McCall, (4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: President Kranelly, (1).
