AUTITORIZINC, FaECUTION OF LEASE BETWEEN CI 1Y OF ALAMEDA
AND ALAMEDA UNIFIED SCHOOL r9 (0 OF' A PORTION OF
McKINLEY PARK KNOWN' AS THOMPSON FTET...(
WEFEBTEAS, Alameda Unified School District, a public body, desires to lease
from the City of Alameda a portion of McKinley Park, kncwn as Thompson Field, for
use as a. football field And for other sports, for the period of one (1) year; and
WHEREAS, a form. of lease containing the terns and conbitions tt, be agreed
upon between the City' of Alameda and Alameda Unified School District, and. more parti-
oulEarly describing the portion of said park to be leased, ha.s been. prepared. arid sub-
mitted...to this Coumpil at its regular meeting held. c August 2, 1955;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OP THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the Mayor of said City be, and he is hereby, RUth.orized and. directed to ee(cute,
and the City Clprk to attest, on behalf of the City, a lease substantially in the
form and containing the terms mad conditions set forth. in the aforesaid form of
lease.
