AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN
THE CITY OF ALAMEDA AND THE COUNTY OF ALAMEDA 0I 2100
TO PRISONER CARE.
WHEREAS, a form of agreement by and between the City of Alameda and the
County of Alameda relating to per diem payments for the care of prisoners in County
jails and City jail has been proposed; and
WHEREAS, said form of agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk
of the Ciby of Alameda and the Council is informed of the contents cf said agreemer.t;
and
WHEREAS, it is deemed in the test interests of the City of Alameda tc
execute sold agreement;
NOW THEREFORE, 00 IT RESOLVED dY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the Mayor of the City of Alameda is hereby authorized to execute, for and on behalf
of the City of Alameda, that certain agreement by end between said City of Alameda
and the County of Alameda relating to per diem payments for the care of prisoners.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to attest to same.

and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regu-
lar meeting assembled. on toe 17th day of February, 1959, by the following vote,
to wit:
