HEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda did, on thb 18th dray of Augeset,
1959, pass its Resolution of Intention No. 5982, declaring its intention to order the
vacation and alaandonment of a. strip of land, formerly in Railroad. Avenuh, in the
City of Alamoda, County of Alameda, State of California, rthre particuihrl.Ti described
in said Besolutinn of intention as follows:

WHEREAS, the City Clark of the City of Alameda caused said Resolution of
Intention to be published in the manner pyesorited by law for the publisging of ordi-
nances of th6 City of Alar6da, in the Alameda Times-Star, n. daily newspaper of general
circulation published and circulated in said city and. the offlcial newspaper thereof;
and.
WHEREAS, proof cf said publication is evidnced by an affidavit of publica-
tion now on file in the office of th City Clerk of snid City; and
WIRESIS, proof of snid '13 -31 of such notice ih evidenced. by the affiavit
of thh sthrson posting said notices, which affidavit sots forth the facts regarding
su.cft posting and is now on file tn the office of the City Clerk of said Citv; and

before the Council of the City of Alameda at its regular meeting on the 15th day of
