RESOLVED BY. THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY' OF ALAMEDA that the Sp-ecifications and
Provisions for furnishing to the City of Alamed. eight (8) 1960 model 4-door sedans,
a-cylinder, with automatic transmission or alternate, or with standard shift, for,
thgi EolAce Department; and one (1) 1960 model in-doon sedan, 6-cylinder, with auto-
matic transmission, for tbe Planning Department, No. MS 9-59-110 filed in the office
of the City Clerk on September 15, 1959, be, and the sane are hereby approved and
adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, tbat the Council of the City of Alameda mill receive
saaGed 'bids up to the houg of 10:00 o,clock a. m. on TUESDAY, OCTOEgR 13, 1959, for
furnishing to tbe City of said autombbiles, in accordance with. said Specifioation
and Provisions. Bids must be ticesented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda,
Califbrnia, under ssalod cover end. plainly mgorked on the outside, "Proposal for
O-dpor Sedans for Police and Planning Departments,' or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will. be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who gMbEcits the lowest and best bid.
The rigLt is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the AlamES Times-Star,
notice calling for sealed bidg, in accordance with the provisions of this resolu-
tion and of said SpEcifioations and Provisions.
