WHEREAS, M.17 GEORGE L. KENNARD has been a member of the Social Service Board
of the City of Alameda since July I, 1954, and served as President of said Board; and
WHEREAS, Er. Ke1(3 nard. hos been :Rost reliable and comprehensive in his 'parti-
cipation in the acti ities of this Board and Las given liberally of hie tiEe and
effort on behalf of the citizens of Alameda.
NOW, THEEDECTER, BE IT RESOLVED, thht the City of Alameda and the people
of the commurAty do hereby' express their esteem and extEnd to Mr. Kennard their
cere appreciation for the vnry worthwhdle service rendered by him in this capacity
for the best interests of the City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLNED, that the City Clerk transmit to Mr. GEOELE L.
EENNARE a certified copy of this resolution as a token of the recognition and grati-
tude of the City Council.
