APPROVING FIRST SUPPLEMENTAL MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT
FOR EXPENDITURE OF GAS TAX ALLOCATION FOR MAJOR CITY
STREETS AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the State of California, through its Department of Public Works,
Division of Highways, has presented a First Supplemental Memorandum of Agreement, in
accordance with a project statement submitted for expenditure by the City of the gas
tax allocated under the provisions of Sections 194 and 2107 of the Streets and High-
ways Code, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1960, for streets of major importance
other than State highways, in the City of Alameda; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents of said agreement;
NOW THEREFORE, BF IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
said project statement be, and it is hereby, adopted as the budget of proposed
expenditures of the gas tax allocated for streets of major importance, and said
First Supplemental Memorandum of Agreement be, and the same is hereby, approved, and
the Mayor of the City of Alameda, and the City Clerk, are directed to sign the same
on behalf of said City, said agreement to be binding upon the City upon its execution
by the authorized officials of the State,
the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in
adjourned regular meeting assembled on the 7th day of October, 1959, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilman Collischonn, Freeman, Petersen, Schacht and
President McCall, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT; None.
