AMENDING SALARY BSOLUTION NO. 5965 BY CREATING THE
POSITION OF FIRE LIEUTENANT (ADMINISTRATIVE) AND
ESTABLISHING THE SALARY THEREFOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that a portion of sub-
section 8 of paragraph 2, Section 2, of Resolution No. 5965, be amended by creating
the new position of Fire Lieutenant (Administrative) in the Fire Department, and
establishing the salary therefor, as follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of this resolution shall be
February 16, 1960.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the provisions of this resolution shall supersede
those portions of Resolution No. 5965, and of any other resolution in conflict here-
with, and all such conflicting provisions are, to the extent of such conflict only,
hereby rescinded and annulled.
