of 1956, whereby the City agreed to ascent the burden of 50% of the operation, mein-
tenanoe and. subsequent replacement of a new Pruitt/ale Avenue bridge provided. that
the City of Oakland agrees' to accept a similar burden, and provitled further' that the
Federal. Government 33. at its own cost and expense a new and modern four (b)
