WHEREAS, the City Eagineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans fox
the installation of a culvert ia 11 intersection oZ Caroline Street and Fair Oaks Avenue, numbered
EV 10-60-23 and filed in. the office of the City. Clerk an October 18, 1960;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, Amp.nered and filed ao aforesaid be, and the samie are
1 approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, EHRTHER, that the performance and completion of the work specified in said
Specifications and Provisions be, aad tna same is heieby authorized.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealnd bins up
to the hour of 11:00 o'clopk a. m. on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 28, 1960 for 4, 4, to the City of ail
labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to,
in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk,
in the City Hall, Alaneda, California, under sealed cover and plainly parked on the outside,
'Proposal for installation of CuPpert in Intersection of Caroline Street and Fair Oaks Amenne,"
or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisionc of the Charter of the City
of Alameda, to the responcible bidder who submits the iowent and best. bid. The right is Deserved tP
reject any or all bids.
Sald Specifications and Prvisions may be had by an4, prwspeptive biddeE on application to
the City Eastover, at his office. in the City Mall, Alameda, California_
The City Clerk is hereby directed. to advertise, in, the Alameda. Times-Star, a. notice. calling
