munity, expresses to the Reverend Robert A. Peters and to the members of the First
Assembly of God, sincere regret and 010 110 for the unfortunate damage to their
Church edifice by fire early in the mbrning of Sunday, February 12, 1961.
WHEREAS, this tremrndous lobs saddened the hearts of the people in the
City and aroused keen concern for those faced with the project of replacement;
NEW, THEFIARDIth, BE IT RESOLVLb, that the Council of the City. of' Alameda,
beirg aware of the great task of reconstruction of the dameged section of thin
structure which lies before the members of the First Assembly' of God, alba extends
to the congregation its deeFre to cooperate in every reasonahlb and legitimate wby

full usefulness.
