Resolution 06210o 1 CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION N0. 6210 RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CTTY OF ALAMEDA SUPPORTING AND URGING THE ADOPTION OF ASSEMBLY BILL,544 (STATE HIGHWAY 16 CITY OF ALAMEDA). WHEREAS, Assembly Bill 544 provides that a certain portion of Lincoln Avenue and Tilden Way, within the City of Alameda, be denominated a Stare Highway; and WHEREAS, said State Highway would beneficially serve the City of Alameda as a connecting link with Nimitz Freeway in an easterly direction; and WHEREAS, the adoption of Assembly Bill 544 will be of great benefit to the citizens of the City of Alameda, the County of Alameda, and the State of California; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the City of Alameda hereby supports and urges the adoption of Assembly Bill 544. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all previous resolutions of the Council cf the City of Alameda relating to this subject matter are hereby rescinded.
