RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA. OPPOSINC SENATE
BILL 1534, -c TO THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY BRIDGE TERMINAL.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Council of the City of Alameda held March 7, 1951,
a. motion prevailed that the Council support the position of the Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District
in its opposition to Senate Rill 499; and
WHEREAS, the provisions of Senate Bill 499 have beAn incorporated in senate Bill 1534,
together with additional language permitting the use of toll. bridge 'monies to revise the San
Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge Terrinal Building for helicopter service;
NOn THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY 7 ALAMEDA that the Council of
the City of Alameda does hereby express its opposition to Senate Bill 1534 as being contrary to the
best interests of the City of Alameda and of the San Francisco Bay Area.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directed to transmit certified copies
of this resolution to all pertinent. parties.
