Resolution 06499CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 6499
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT WITH BRINK'S,
INCORPORATED, FOR THEIR SERVICES RELATING TO PARKING
METER COLLECTIONS, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1963-1964.
WHEREAS, a proposed contract with Brink's, Incorporated, for their services relating to
parking meter collections during the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1963, and ending June 30, 1964,
has been submitted to this Council, and the Council is fully informed and aware of the terms and
conditions thereof; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Alameda that said contract be
entered into;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor of
the City of Alameda is hereby authorized and directed to execute, for and on behalf of the City of
Alameda, that certain contract referred to above by and between Brink's, Incorporated, and the City
of Alameda, for their services relating to parking meter collections during the fiscal year 1963-
1964. The City Clerk is hereby directed to attest to same.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
2nd day of July, 1963, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Freeman, La Croix, Jr., McCall, Rose and President Godfrey, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
