EQUAL, TRACTOR, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO
ADVERTISE SANE.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CIT'Y OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and Provisions
for furnishing to the City of Alameda one (I) used, reconditioned, Caterpillar D-4 60" Dr accept-
able equal, tractor, No. MS 8-63-10, filed in the office of the City Clerk on August 6, 1963, be,
and the same are hereby approved and ndnpted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up
to the hour of L1:00 o'clock a.m- on FRIDAY, AUGUST 23, 1963, for furnishing to the City of said
tractor, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the
City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the
outside, "Proposal for Used, Reconditioned, Caterpillar Tractor., or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject lo the provisions of the Charter uf said
City, to the responsible bidder who submits elle lowest end best bid. The right is reserved to
reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk iR hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications
and Provisions.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
6th day of August, 1963, by the following vote, to wit:
